DIARY 2013
There are four major dates in the calander of the Napoleon Society of Ireland;
- March 4th - Robert Emmet’s Birthday and presentation of the Robert Emmet Humanitarian Award. (Postponed till March 2014)
- June 18th - The anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo – Debate
- August 15th - Napoleon’s Birthday – Annual Napoleon Society of Ireland formal dinner.
- November 9th - Anniversary of the 18th Brumaire when Napoleon took control of the French Republic in 1799.
There will also be trips organised to The Bonaparte Museum in Waterford, The Emmet Museum at Altidore Caslte in Wicklow and there are plans for a trip to Napoleon’s place of birth on the island of Corsica planned for 2013. Full details will be posted on the site.
