We are delighted to announce the news that Senator David Norris, long time human rights campaigner, academic, Joycean Scholar, broadcaster and former Presidential candidate, has agreed to become the Honorary Patron of the Napoleon Society of Ireland.

Derek Byrne, President of the NSI, is a long time friend of the Senator and is over joyed at the prospect of working with David as the newly formed organisation prepares to host the International Napoleonic Congress in Dublin in 2016.

Messages of good will have already arrived from the other members of the board and from the International Napoleonic Society.
